In Memory of Anna DeJong

Dear Grace Church,

The arrangements have been set for Anna DeJong's funeral services. Although you will not be able to be present physically at the Visitation or Service held at the Hultgren Funeral Home, below is the service schedule and some suggested ways you can participate.

Ways you can participate:
 
1.    *Streaming the service(s). See the links above for streaming the Funeral Service, at 11am, and Graveside Service, at 12pm.
 
2.    Be present at the Glen Oak Cemetery. Although there will also be a limited number in attendance at the graveside service (again due to COVID-19), it would be an encouragement to the family to have you present on the cemetery property to support the DeJongs. The plot for Anna is located in the extreme southwest corner of the property (see map here). If you enter the cemetery ground using the north entrance, you can follow the road as it curves south along the far west side of the property, park along that road, and exit your cars to stand (socially distanced) on the large grassy area north of Anna's grave site. The family will easily be able to see you there. This area is highlighted in yellow in the attached map. Please be sure not to block the roads leading to and surrounding the gravesite (highlighted green).
 
3.    Drive by Visitation at Grace Church.  The DeJongs will be available at the carport entrance at Grace Church from 2-4pm. We encourage you to drive by to give them your condolences, drop a card in the basket, or even if you have a picture of Anna in your archives that you could print and give to them.  Please use the east entrance and follow the line through the carport and depart using the west exit.
 
4.    Make a contribution to the Anna DeJong Memorial Fund.

There will be a public Memorial Service sometime in the future, once those are allowable again. We will also be sending out a sign-up giving you an opportunity to invite Dave and Kathryn to your home for a more personal time of fellowship.

On behalf of the DeJong family, thank you, Grace Church, for your outpouring of love and care.  We ache together with them at the great loss of their Anna; her presence will be missed among us.
