There is a severe opioid crisis in our nation, evidenced by 64,000 overdose deaths in 2016. God calls His people to love their neighbors, and the Church should be involved in solving this crisis.  A Biblical understanding of the basis for addictions, and how best to love and counsel addicts away from their addiction toward Christlikeness is a primary way to be involved.  This class will examine the Scriptures to understand addiction, and provide guidance for how to effectively counsel an addict.  A class booklet will be provided, bring your Bible. Friends are welcome. Deadline to register is Friday May 18. This one day class will be held Saturday, May 19, 8am-1pm at Grace Church of DuPage, room CE-13.  Snacks will be provided.
