Our team includes four people who have been to Slovenia before and seven who have not. It is made up of five guys and six gals. We have seven high schoolers going this year, two college age students, and two post college . . . ummm . . . people - it is debatable as to whether they are adults yet.

Read MoreWe finished up a great three days of orientation today. Karis did a great job planning our sessions. They were fun, informative, and great for helping us to prepare for the week ahead.
Read MoreWe were met by Karis at the airport and whisked away to a day of touring the Capitol of Slovenia, Ljubljana. We had great time taking in the views from a local castle, eating pizza and ice cream, and getting to know the JV team. Now we're in Ptuj where we will have our first orientation session before crashing and getting much needed sleep.
