Charles grew up in Oregon, attended Wheaton College, and then moved to France to serve with TEAM (The Evangelical Alliance Mission) in 2017. While there he met Sabine, a French national who grew up in the French Evangelical Church. They married in 2020 and now have one child. After serving in camp ministry and the local church, the Lord called Charles in 2025 to become the Pastor of an evangelical church in Annecy. In addition to supporting their church ministry, Sabine works as a psychomotricity therapist, and specializes in caring for children who have suffered abuse or trauma. Both are deeply invested in the local church and work to see French churches grow in health and maturity, able to reproduce elsewhere, as God’s means to reach the world.

Grace Church of DuPage welcomed Charles & Sabine into our church family in February 2024 and established a partnership with them towards the end of extending Christ's Kingdom among the people of France.
